AirAdvisor vs ClaimFlights: Which Claim Service to Choose?

ClaimFlights and AirAdvisor, both flight compensation companies, support passengers seeking compensation for flight delays and cancellations under EU Regulation 261/2004. However, the final payout for passengers may vary depending on the service fees, court charges, and VAT.

The table below represents the estimated payout comparison, assuming court action is required:

Flight Distance EU261 Compensation AirAdvisor Payout * ClaimFlights Payout*
Up to 1500 km €250 €125 €187.5
1500 – 3500 km €400 €200 €300
Above 3500 km €600 €300 €450

*Estimates are based on publicly available fee structures and research conducted in April 2025.

Example: If you suffered a flight delay along with your family of 5, each of you could receive up to €600 in compensation under EU law. Considering the Claim Companies’ Fees, you could only receive €1,500 through AirAdvisor, but €2,250 through ClaimFlights (assuming court proceedings).

Both AirAdvisor and ClaimFlights guide users through a step-by-step process for submitting the claim, though the number of steps and details may vary slightly. While their services are similar, the final payout can differ based on factors like service fees and legal costs. Ultimately, the best choice depends on your needs and expectations.
